Hello there! I’m Michelle Huffaker, Owner and Creative Director of comDstudio. My studio name draws inspiration from my 3+ years of studying Communication Design at Pratt Institute. After completing my education with a BA in Art History/Criticism in Southern California, I returned to my true passion in design. I began hand-coding websites in 2000, and since 2008, WordPress has become my primary tool. Over the years, I’ve worked in various media creation roles spanning diverse industries. My extensive education and experience enable me to approach every project from a conceptual and visual communication perspective, with a commitment to delivering results-driven, aesthetically pleasing design.
I spend my time between my two favorite places… my hometown of New Orleans and my adopted hometown of San Diego. I love to cook, ride my bike on the boardwalk, dance, and spend time with my family.Â
